Last week I had the privilege of photographing the very beautiful Jessica Rowe at a JCA function and she shared some very insightful stories as a first-time mother who suffered from post-natal depression. Funnily enough she has two daughters and the second one is named Giselle! My name is making a huge comeback, too bad it was very obscure when I was a wee little girl and I couldn’t say “Just like the Brazilian supermodel” like I do now when people struggle to pronounce or spell my name! Enough chit chat, here are some photos of her speaking, she was much so much more engaging and genuine in the way that she spoke than I expected, having only really seen her as a new reader. She kept mentioning that she loves to dress up in sparkles and she looked pretty spectacular in her sparkly skirt! The funniest thing she said at the start was that she feels like she is part of the community and knows everyone because “I live in Vaucluse” and she hangs out in Rose Bay all the time…
